Sabrina Salerno

An icon of dance music and a symbol of Italo disco 1980s, she conquered audiences worldwide with her explosive energy and unmistakable sound.

Her 1987 single, “Boys (Summertime Love)”, became an international hit, reaching the top of the charts in France and Switzerland and peaking at number three in the United Kingdom. The video, featuring her in a bikini by the pool, helped solidify her image as a sex symbol. Other iconic tracks include “All of Me (Boy Oh Boy)”, “My Chico”, “Like a Yo-Yo”, “Gringo”, “Siamo donne” and a cover of “Call Me”.

Beyond music, Sabrina also pursued a career in film and television, appearing in movies such as Fratelli d’Italia (1989) and shows like Stars 80 (2012). In 2010, she collaborated with Samantha Fox on a new version of “Call Me”, which achieved notable success in Italy.
