Maurizio Solieri

He was the lead guitarist of Vasco Rossi for nearly thirty years, while also building a full and successful solo career.

In 1977, he met Vasco Rossi at the Modena train station, marking the beginning of a historic musical partnership. He co-wrote the music for “Canzone”, “C’è chi dice no”, “Dormi, dormi”, “Ridere di te”, “Lo show” and “Se è vero o no”, and performed some of the most iconic solos in songs such as “Colpa d'Alfredo” and “Albachiara”.

As a co-founder, along with Massimo Riva, of the Steve Rogers Band, he achieved great success in 1988 with the single “Alzati la gonna”.

In 2017, he appeared as a guest at Vasco’s Modena Park concert, and in 2018 he released the album Dentro e fuori dal Rock’n’Roll.
